USSHunter, "remember" used to kick my butt. Ironically, I would say "do you recall?" instead !\*! I had a phobia of "remember." With /r/, your tongue is way back on the top of your mouth. You want to start your vocal cords immediately before the tongue presses against your palate. Try this: start your /r/ like a growl- like there is a short /e/ before it. Similar to the word "eradicate." Make sure you avoid inhaling before you say it. Say it in unison with an exhale (almost like humming).
