About a year ago I was layed off my first job out of trade school, along with a few others, so i didn't feel it was because of my stutter. He wanted soldiers, not employees, so I refused a ridiculous ultimatum. Anyways, he later hired the other former employees, some of which were much less qualified than me, and I believe that was because he'd rather not deal with the liability of someone who stutters but has an actual degree and certification to do the work, than a fluent speaker with no experience.
