choosing to not disclose stutter im just trying to see if anyone on here doesn’t tell their friends about their stutter ? i’ve never told any of my close friends ever and kind of figured they could always talk to me ab it if they were curious (never have). i’ve only talked to my childhood best friend ab it but we aren’t friends anymore and she was the only relationship i had that knew (outside of family). im a mild stutterer so i just assume if any of my friends think any of it then they usually just chalk it up to me stuttering that one time or just an occasional thing. when i tell stories i usually tell them very botchy too and am always pausing to avoid stuttering but i just act like i forgot a word or something 😭 and i’ve heard many ppl talk like this just cause they’re bad at telling stories so idk if my friends can actually tell it’s bc i stutter. im just curious if anyone else has friendships like these or had until a friend mentioned it . i just see disclosing stuttering a lot on this suv so i wanted to see if anyone was like me and just chooses to not talk ab it w friends 😭
