You are indeed a lucky guy to have discovered that our deficits don't define us. Even with our trials there is life to be enjoyed when we look beyond our limitations even though there is great diversity in our abilities to communicate. Some of us are mostly fluent and many of us are unable to orally verbalize at all. Wherever we are, we need to have hope and, continue to take advantage of every opportunity to progress and socialize. Close, happy relationships color every part of our emotions. We are able to vault hurdles we thought impossible. Gratitude for the smallest victory encourages us to try new things. Even as stutterers we can enjoy various things in our lives despite the pain of limited ability to communicate orally. Bravo to you for achieving this happy stage of your life.
