Something that really helped me in therapy, is thinking fluently. What I mean is, most of the time when we are stuck on a word or sound, that is the only thought we have. We get stuck in the stutter so we get stuck in the thought *I-I-I-I-I-* and then we are stuck. We concentrate so much on just the the stutter in the moment instead of what we are actually saying. So you have to think fluently. Think about what’s coming next This is different from planning ahead or rehearsing. This is in the moment. Get your mind of what you are stuck on and onto what you are actually saying, and what is coming next. *l‘m Just fine how are you?* Make sense?
