That’s good to know! My son also went through a phase with echolalia which I know is associated with autism. He’s a super black and white thinker, very rigid at times, no understanding of nuance and also shows other signs of low level autism but is also outgoing at school so it’s been hard to nail down what’s happening. Although I think the school socializing may be masking behaviors already from what I see in social settings. As far as word repeating, I’ll have to speak with someone in this field to see if what I’m referring to as stuttering is actually repeating. Thanks for your response!
