Your son is his own person, he has his own priorities, the type of therapy you subject him to will effect and affect the way he perceives his stutter. I can't comment too much without more background then I currently have and have experience in several environments where people think it's cute to being made fun of, to the pressure of speaking as a systems matter expert in my old field of profession, which I eventually quit due to what I would like to refer to as a toxic work environment combined with a project deadline that I ultimately knew would have some sort of priority failure to it. Everyone is different and excepting of their flaws in a different way. Advice is difficult for me to give but hypotheticals come in lists.
