Yes. Obviously no one in this world is 100% fluent but I say i have overcome my stutter. Theres no more pain related to it, I am able to say and do what I want where I want with who I want. The ultimate freedom. That's overcoming your stutter to me. 1. Around 4-5 started- overcame at 19 2. Happened within months after realizing the root problem 3. No therapist worked for me. I took it to my own hands and started learning it myself. Gave up on trying to overcome my stutter and switched to trying to get better with women. Started learning "pick up". When I switched my focus to "pick up" everything changed. My mindset shifted from going into interactions "trying not to stutter" to showing carefreeness, leading, etc. That's when I started to overcome my stutter. I made the connection in my brain that if I focus on stuttering I stutter more. If I focus on another area in my life that needs self developing, I overcome stuttering as a bi product. I do not recommend every guy learning "pick up". Its very infecting to the brain and messes with your view on women. 4. Anxiety is practically gone in 99% of interactions. But there will always be interactions that make you anxious. 5. I recommend making a change. Literally (I am very guilty of this) we sit and sulk in our problems. We have pity parties and ultimately hide behind our stutter as a "comfort zone" for an excuse not to talk to people or go places. Make a change. Make a commitment to change. Nothing changes unless you do. ❤
