Phone calls are a pain

Phone calls are a pain Today I had to make a phone call to get a refill for my medication. I don't have to make phone calls often and I'm at peace with my stutter. I avoid phone calls but if I really have to make one, I don't mind it. The lady at the reception answered and I started talking, and about 30 seconds in she just says "I'm sorry, I'm having trouble understanding you, it's probably bad connection, please call again in a minute or so". And I had to do it all over again. I was in a good mood so I just shrugged it off, but my god what fucking absurd things we stutterers sometimes have to go through that "normal" people wouldn't ever even experience or think about. Life on hard mode...
