Agreed, find a qualified SLP. In the US, some sources are Spero Stuttering, SPACE to stutter, the Blank Center, and the ABSCFD. In general just ask if the person specializes in stuttering and what their training, experience, and treatment approach is. In my experience most insurances now cover speech therapy for adults who stutter, but it can vary by state.
