I block more myself; I’m sure 37 and have stuttered my whole life but have only recently been able to properly admit it to myself and get some help. My advice is to try and be open and speak about it with others and don’t let it hold you back. Only a handful of people know about mine and it’s actually much more a burden hiding it, especially as I can sound unsure of myself professionally.
