Yeah, stutter's weird. we don't know quite how it comes about yet. But it's neat that we tend to be able to tell when it's about to happen. Of course, we could use that to avoid the problematic word, but... in the long run, it's better to carry on with the original intention. Otherwise, we risk feeling distanced from ourselves (perhaps even dishonest). I think it's more healthy to be able to stutter, at any rate. Not necessarily all the time - we can choose to be "practical" once in a while - but enough that we feel connected to our intentions: These words are mine, and a stutter isn't going to take that away from me.
