Are you not disclosing it? WHAT?! You should absolutely disclose it! How else are they supposed to know what's happening? I'd go one step further, if you're going to a physical interview, take some material with you that explains stuttering, its classification in the DSM V as a legally and medically recognized speech disorder, and invite the interviewer to ask you questions about your stutter. Openness is absolutely encouraged. Not only is it common sense to inform people about what they can expect and how to react, but it also takes a lot of pressure off you if they understand what's happening. The OP of this very post (/u/monkeypet) is actually available in our Discord and has offered to help people train with 'mock' interviews. He's a US professional who has had to hire employees before, so he can give you excellent feedback. Please, take him up on that. Join the Discord. Join our voice chats when we have them. Practice. Get used to verbal communication. Get used to disclosure and being comfortable with it. It'll make a world of difference.
