My mother was my first bully. We’ve been estranged since 2021, and I will not be by her bedside or her funeral when her life ends. I hope it was worth it for her. As a fellow stutterer, I am sorry this happened to you. You did not deserve it. You are out there, working and communicating, and all she has is mocking. Wow, what a way to live, Mom. What a winner in life /s You keep being you: you’ll make it. I send you good vibes. It took me some time to get around people who appreciated me, all of me including stutter. You just be you, and the right people will find you. There’s better people out there than your mother.
