You got this! Have a good mental attitude. If it's your dream job, claim it. Don't feed any negative thoughts to yourself, not even jokes. Remind yourself that people love the sound of your voice and you are dynamic speaker. You really are, you just have to keep working at it. One of the things that helped my stuttering the most is repeatedly listening and repeating affirmations about public speaking. I have literally told myself that I was such a great speaker so many times that stuttering barely crosses my mind before I give presentations now....compared to the "OMG I hope I don't stutter" attitude I used to approach things with. Follow the advice below and briefly prep the interview team before you speak. Also, it may help to reframe this situation so that you are less nervous. Lower anxiety usually leads to more fluency for me. This is a job interview, not a court hearing. Be excited about the opportunity! You're going in to be rewarded for your hard work, this is a positive situation! You're not walking in front of a firing squad. lol The interview team is anxiously waiting to see you and they don't care if you stutter, as long as you can convey the info needed. And YOU can. Also, don't put pressure on yourself to speak perfectly. Everyone stutters and stammers. Good luck!
