> What are the differences in therapeutic strategy of a theory based on operant conditioning and one based on classical conditioning? That's a good question. I honestly cannot answer this question. I do know that the Lidcombe programme uses Operant conditioning (punishing and rewarding), and (correct me if I'm wrong) I think they report a very high stuttering recovery rate in young children.
