A very positive mindset. Knowing music effects it, how I feel saying something in one situation over another. Not dwelling over it and succumbing to emotional drain but rather a positive curiosity at most and not worrying about it otherwise. Listening to myself sometimes and feeling the changes I can make and what I got lost in. For example, listening through one of my recorded whatsapp sent message. Asking others with an open mind to see how it seems on the outside and what I can take from it. It was actually fun talking to my nephew about it yesterday and made me feel positive. There were times where I knew I was stuttering but he didn't. I'd backtrack and say a sentence or word again and he had no idea it was from a stuttering struggle. All of this is eye opening to me and helps me live with it pretty positively and all the easier throughout. Gratitude and being pre-occupied, cutting off other stresses helps too. But our minds and bodies don't like uncertainty so when you cut off other stresses, make the decision to burn the bridge for good but don't see it that way. See it as stepping out of a pond, a toxic pond, letting those organisms be while you free yourself from it and feel the sun or moonlight as you get out of that pond and free yourself from it for good. It's very liberating, puts time back in our lives, and is a very positive fulfilling experience. The more you cut negativity and increase positivity the easier it is to deal with our stutter.
