Which do you think sounds better/less awkward to the listener? There are generally two different, less than ideal ways I can express myself in speech. Here they are, using a question I asked my brother the other day as an example: Option A (attacking words directly and stuttering through them)- R-r-em-member how you w-were talking about m-making our own homemade s-sushi when I come down t-to see you? Option B (using buffer words and phrases to transition into words easier)- [You like] remember how you [like] were talking about [you know like] making our own homemade [uh, uh, uh] sushi when I come down [uh, uh] to see you? As a listener, which option would you rather hear from the speaker?
