i'm a chemist, too! 31 male, i have my doctorate in organic chemistry -- you can totally do this. i've had to give tons of presentations over the years. in fact, i have to give a 30 minute talk to my department tomorrow, could be about 100 folk or so! the presentations are always hard but they get a little bit easier each time you do one. ​ good luck with everything you two ! :-D
