I'd love to type out a lengthy reply here but I have a 2 month old baby who needs my attention! Have you read [SPA's statement](http://www.speechpathologyaustralia.org.au/all-latest-news/1997-budget-submission-2015-clarification)? I do think that unfamiliarity with the Australian context is feeding some misunderstandings and things are being blown way out of proportion. I'm not defending SPA entirely, but saying that 'the government' is 'dictating' what therapy you're 'allowed' to have is really quite sensationalist.
