That's happened to me quite a bit, both blocking and getting stuck on the vowel and unable to make any other sound. Definitely less common than the other letters for sure though. I don't know why it happens either but I hope you'll be able to gain more control soon! Speech therapy would help but there's also videos online now as well, and stutter groups like this.
