What are things about stuttering that are rarely discussed?

What are things about stuttering that are rarely discussed? I’m prompted to ask this after John Hendrickson’s excellent book Life on Delay, which delves into a lot of inner thoughts and feelings that aren’t talked about much, even on this subreddit.
