Hi, As a stutterer myself, I cannot emphasise this enough. But if it’s not a big deal in his head, then please don’t make it a big deal for him or for yourself. I am absolutely not accusing you of this at all since I have no idea what your daily interactions with your son are like. However I know from personal experience, I never used to care about my stutter until my family members / parents made a big deal out of it. That’s when my true stuttering fears and severe disfluencies arose. Thankfully after many years I have come out of those fears. but I would recommend not to even mention his stutter to him, if it’s not affecting him personally.
