I am 46 and it still happens in meetings ALL THE TIME!!! I hate it, especially on conference calls when you really have to be clear and enunciate. Luckily, I work on a team where a few of us have the same job title and do the same thing so I can sometimes say “what she said”. Not very professional but I won’t get hung up on a word. I am fine with my name but not my job title.
