I've finally mustered the courage to apply for a job and I have a interview! Hey all! So I struggle really bad from a stutter, which makes me get stuck on the first letter of a word, or I get stuck at the beginning of the word. I also get stuck of particular letters, such as B, or M. Because of this, I have a mix of social and stutter anxiety, which really makes me nervous talking to people, especially strangers. Because I'm 17, I really need to get a job, but I've been putting it off because of my stutter for around 1 1/2 years. The idea of getting stuck on a word in the middle of serving a customer is my worst nightmare, especially because I can be stuck on the letter for a while. I finally mustered the courage and applied for a job at Subway, which was daunting in its self, but I've been offered an interview! So this'll give me something else to overthink about until then!😅 I do feel this is a big thing for me, especially with my anxiety. Does anyone have any tips I could use which could help with the job? No worries if not😁 Thank you all!
