>Good feelings do not lead to disorders In my opinion, nothing is further from the truth. In my opinion, speech therapies put too much emphasis on reducing negative thoughts and feelings, whereas PWS apply positive thoughts and feelings like *feeling proud to say a word fluently (or feeling proud or comfortable to stutter)* to justify: (1) starting an impaired stutter program or defective speech plan programming, or (2) canceling a fluency speech plan. In other words, as long as we keep the positive 'intrusive' or 'anticipatory' thoughts and feelings, it could make it harder to outgrow stuttering or at least, break the stutter cycle in my opinion. In one viewpoint 'feeling comfortable' when stuttering is a good thing as it leads to breathing calmly, however in another viewpoint as explained above, it could also lead to justifying above two aspects which keeps us in the eternal loop of the vicous circle.
