Does anyone else not agree with Dr. Gurians’ hypothesis that we stutter pronouncing our names because of identity related issues? I’ve been lurking on this sub for a few weeks and I’m personally shocked how stuttering impacts how some of you view yourselves…. If I had a child who stuttered I may see it more empathetically. I stutter. I’m worth listening to.
