Welcome to the mystery. My parents say I picked it up in 3rd grade speech therapy. Started speech because I said my "R's" like a New Yorker. Most of the kids in there had stutters, and I guess I 'picked it up' from them. I'm almost 40 now and I still have it. Good luck!
