Whole heartily agree you. The message that is portrayed by confidently advertising your speech in that setting is a powerful one. I believe it leaves a lasting impression on people. Real quick response to the original question: definitely don’t try a new med or over the counter supplement. The last thing you want to do is throw in another variable to this already stressful situation. You don’t know how you’ll feel, or even whether it’s effective or not. Unknown effects could be worse than the known conditions. Furthermore, that’s a slippery slope dude, it’s dangerous to look to a substance help you in this arena. You got it this. Be confident, be bold. Don’t hesitate to take a few moments to yourself occasionally while other interviewees are talking to gather yourself (breath, heart rate, mind etc). But dude, ultimately ... smile. Have a good time! No matter what happens, you’ll be that much better in this situation the next time it comes up. You should be proud of yourself for getting invited, showing up and doing your thing. It’s no small feat. Good luck dude, report back. We’re rooting for you.
