Thanks for your comment. Firstly, it always makes me happy knowing about stutterers who reached great places despite our condition. Being a snr. solutions architect esp. in cybersecurity is a sweet gig and I am proud of you for making that happen. I really wish I had a strong technical background/passion for a field that I could hone into. Overall, I just find that no matter what career path I choose - I cant avoid speaking/meetings/presentations. That is just a reality. Can you give me tips on how you progressed from breaking our of your comfort zone to where you at now. For example, how do manage the emotional in the moment response when you block or have a prolonged stutter when explaining something/during a meeting. I just feel like so much lesser than everyone in the room when the room. My heart races and I get filled with ency when I see how effortlessly people talk. I hate to feel this way, but Idk how to make that better. You are right though as I am well aware most of the shame/insecurity we stutterers feel is a form of projection. I just wish it were easy to step over this and say what I wanted no matter how I sounded. I just dont know how to be confident and stutter when its so effortless for others to speak so eloquantly and go on and on about concepts and ideas while I croak on words.
