Being aware of your self worth makes the healthiest foundation for your life. I’ve dealt with low self esteem during my college years and psychotherapy helped me the most. I was much more aware of my (unhealthy) thoughts afterwards and was able to handle challenging situations a lot better. When you make yourself your “best friend” you’ll know how much you can offer and can be more at peace with rejection (that may have nothing to do with stutter after all) which leads to being comfortable around other people. I know psychotherapy isn’t financially available for everyone but anything that can help you be more aware of your talents, accomplishments (even the little ones) and your current thoughts in general can be beneficial.
