If you live in the USA please come to the National Stuttering Association conference. There are so many girls your age from all over the US to meet and make friends with. And who knows, you may make a connection that turns into something special. Plus they have so many classes/seminars/workshops on things like navigating different areas of your life such as dating as a person who stutters, high school, college, job interviews, the workplace. It’s like this wonderful safe place to talk, learn, and make connections with people who stutter and with people who don’t as well. I took my 13 yr old daughter last year and it was the first time she ever met anyone that stutters like she does. It also helped her with acceptance and confidence.
