This is unfortunately the story of my life. I too can't go to a shop and ask for something that I block on. I can say it but softly or maybe when I'm alone but I have always had trouble saying it when needed. When there's a crowd at a shop, mall, or any place, it gets me nervous, especially around people of my age or younger. I so wish to be able to do the things that are deemed normal for every adult.
