I am fully aware that things as complicated as stuttering cannot be fixed overnight. I've been reading articles about stuttering genes for quite some time now but the discoveries haven't led to anything remotely significant. As the description of this interview states, the discovered gene count went up by one to equal four. But these four genes only account for 12-20 percent of stutterers. This is neither interesting or newsworthy in my opinion.
