I knew I was resigning, I just didn't figure out why and put all the pieces together as I was given a choice of take this package we don't have to give you, or we are terminating you right now. They had my resignation letter all ready to go and they had ginned up charges to back it up in case I wanted to fight it. Thing is, I was still within the 6 month probationary period, so they could have just said it wasn't working out and that would have been it. But they didn't. There was a whole dog and pony show. Yea I might be able to sue then for wrongful termination thru the ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act), but odds are they were smart enough to never have an email chain, so...
