Should I see a ST that specializes in pediatric ST but has experience with adults if Im an adult? Due to the scheduling of work and time conflicts, I won’t be able to see a speech therapist that solely focuses on adults. There was another speech therapist that was recommended to me that would be able to meet accommodate my schedule, but she specializes in pediatric speech therapy. They ask her if she was comfortable treating adults and she said yeah. Will It make a big difference or am I good to go? I don’t want to doubt her, just want to make sure I’m getting the best for my speech.
