I’m 24 and I’ve stuttered since I was like 4 or 5, and I know it can be hard for some. I use to let my stutter bother me growing up in elementary school, and to junior to an extent, but once I got to high school. I didn’t worry about it as much, and people didn’t care that I stutter. I look at myself now, and I’m proud of the person that I’ve become. I completed college a year and a half ago, and now have an adult job that I enjoy. I see my stutter as something that makes me unique. Sure I wish I didn’t stutter, but it is what it is. I’ve learned to simply just be who I am, and be happy. My advice would be to be confident in yourself. Don’t over think it. Confidence goes a long way. If you’re yourself, no one will care.
