Typically what happens to me when I get in certain social situations is that I will breathe wrong, and air will go into the wrong places like the back of my throat and upper chest. My breathing will become shallow and rapid, and it will feel like I'm hyperventilating when it gets really bad. Luckily in the past couple of weeks I have discovered exactly how this happens, and if I concentrate I can minimize it.
