You know why that worked, right? Because we stutterers, by default pay a lot of attention to how we are speaking & try to correct it subconsciously. When DAF is used, we can't do that. >You don't hit a baseball because your mind believes that you can do it through practice. You hit a baseball because you put in hours of practice. Baseball is way different compared to speaking, right? Baseball is a physical task, while speaking is natural like breathing, walking. Why is there a need to control natural skill? I'm not coming at you, just learning more about stuttering through stories & books.
