Great advice. Stuttering can be confusing because it’s situational. Im not aware of a daily stutter at this point jn my life but still have episodic challenges in time urgent situations, when very fatigued, or a bit more social pressure —also speaking another language —anything that taxes my cognitive load makes it more difficult to execute, coordinate, and plan motor speech. Even in my tennis matches i now let my opponents know I’m a stutterer bc sometimes my speech is late or hard to coordinate & and i don’t want to be misjudged as cheating or being unsure of a call. My timing and rhythm is still a challenge in difft situations. There is no one way to stutter and I guess that can also be a teaching point to the public. Also, even with largely fluent speech, most stutterers are stutterers for life, it can come and go throughout the life span.
