You can't run away from something as important as work unless you're one of those fortunate enough to not need to worry about money. What you're experiencing is completely normal. I'm 30 & have stuttered ever since I was a little kid. The idea of getting a job when I was a teen terrified me just like it does you. I thought about what I could do for money if I didn't want a job, but I wasn't nearly pretty enough for any of those options haha. Seriously though, don't run away from this. Once you start down that path it becomes infinitely harder to climb your way back out. I started off working retail & fast food, dreading every minute that led up to clocking in because I was so worried about stuttering at first. After a while, I adjusted & the idea of working just became routine & not worth stressing about. You'll get there too, but you have to push yourself outside your comfort zone. Now I'm a drill sergeant in the USAF & there's no way I'd ever have been able to accomplish becoming one if I had run away from the situations that scared me.
