´´Stuttering & Anxiety self-cures´´ is a bad book First off I want to say that I do think the techniques in this book and the theory behind it are quite sensical. The book displays a theory about stuttering that made me think yeah, that has a point. I´m also using techniques which make a point as well. But the author displays awful gaslighting about stuttering. He says that no one likes to hear or want to hear you stuttering, that you´re letting people wait by stuttering, where he added that it´s better to not speak (unless you can speak fluently or apply his techniques). Constantly giving the idea that you´re embarrassing yourself by stuttering. No PWS should believe this. I don´t think it´s right for anyone to believe the idea that stuttering is inherently a bad thing. If you want to believe that that´s fine, I respect it, but it´s so wrong to project this (reeking insecure) mindset to other people. Just my 2 cents.
