I would say that giving a speech about it is a great idea! Not only are you a subject matter expert, in some ways I think stuttering or stammering during it will in some ways lend even more validity to what you’re saying (and maybe even make sort of like art?). It may also help to give the others giving you a hard time some more perspective and to see that you own it and aren’t ashamed of it or their thoughts about it. (something I constantly struggle with myself.) I say get out there, call it what it is, and own it, which I realize is likely easier said than done. I hope this helps!
