Socialising and stammering

Socialising and stammering (Sorry if this has no flow or structure btw idrk where to start and it may be quite long so sorry for that too) For a bit of context, I’m currently at a football (U.K.) college academy and it’s been a month since we’ve started. Got some good results so far and I’m doing well at keeping up with the classroom workload My issues lay with the entire social aspect of college. I’m yet to make a single friend and I haven’t instigated a single conversation with anyone other than a coach or two asking for help. I hate being socially isolated, especially when the context of us all being here is to play football which is a social sport in its nature. Just to add to this pressure, I’m a goalkeeper. Which I love, and when I’m on the pitch I don’t stammer because I’m shouting and yelling at my team with information and tactics etc. But off the pitch, I am the definition of the ‘quiet kid’ such that I don’t talk to anyone and I just get on with my work. During GK training I’m a bit louder, but never anything special I’m terrified of even trying to socialise with anyone because of my fear of stammering and the ‘consequences’ that come with that. People hardly ever pronounce my name correctly and since I find it difficult to say my name, I rarely if ever correct them which infuriates me Any help or comments are appreciated and tbh if any of y’all read this it means a lot anyway bc I just had to get this off my chest and this was a good way of doing it I felt
