Update Post, just wanted to say thank you :) Hi guys! I made a post yesterday about how I just got a job talking to people on the phone. I was ridiculously nervous about it. However after reading through this subreddit and reading the replies to my post, I felt so much more confident in myself. This confidence helped my fluency MAJORLY. I wasn't half of the stuttering mess that I usual am. I just wanted to take the time to thank everyone here for just being wonderful people :) P.S. In case anyone's interested, the biggest tip that actually helped me the most was to talk SLOWLY (and in a low tone). The difference it made for me personally was phenomenal. Also another huge thing that I needed to do was to accept that I have a stammer, and that when it happens its best to just move on as if nothing ever happened. In my experience so far, people don't seem to really give a shit (which is a good thing IMO). Lastly if anyone wants to ask me anything please do! I'd be happy to help anyone :)
