Stuttering after trauma

Stuttering after trauma Hello! I was attacked Sunday evening and I was speaking as I usually do. Although on Monday afternoon I had to do a ‘walk through’ of the scene to add it to my police statement. From that moment I have a stutter. I cannot tell you how frustrating it is. It’s a constant reminder of what happened. I took several punches to the right side of my head. I’m having an MRI tomorrow to decipher if the stutter is due to a head injury or my body being in shock. Has anyone had something like this happen? I just want to be myself again.
