There's definitely a lot of things involved in getting to grips with having a stutter. I'm not sure it's feasible to expect a single vocation to sort out all of it. In that sense, we'd be prudent in reminding people that speech therapy is an important tool, but that other things are also in consideration, depending on the state and needs of the person in question. So that's really all I wanted to point out. We don't want to make it sound like stutterers shouldn't pursue the option of speech therapy just because it "doesn't solve _everything_". It solves _something_, in so far as you can make progression with it and stick to it. I also think that with stutter, we're talking about habitualities that are so slow to move around, that we might not know how progress looks until we're many years into whatever process we're involved in. Makes it really hard to track what it was that brought us to a good place. But then again, maybe it's all of it. Steps to take that all help us forward.
