Truthfully not at all - I'd rather my kids didn't have a stutter (one doesn't, one may develop one - it's iffy right now) but I know that they can live a solid, full life whether or not they stutter. I know I could help them (by providing tips but also support/encouragement and access to speech therapy). Everyone has their challenges in life, no matter who you are, and I consider myself grateful that stuttering is one of my biggest challenges (compared to what others have or have gone through).
