I went to another job interview today Hello everyone! It's been a while since I've posted here. I made these two topics a little while back. [https://www.reddit.com/r/Stutter/comments/aexqhj/have\_a\_job\_interview\_wednesday\_thinking\_about/](https://www.reddit.com/r/Stutter/comments/aexqhj/have_a_job_interview_wednesday_thinking_about/) [https://www.reddit.com/r/Stutter/comments/agputn/thanks\_to\_the\_amazing\_support\_of\_this\_community\_i/](https://www.reddit.com/r/Stutter/comments/agputn/thanks_to_the_amazing_support_of_this_community_i/) Unfortunately, I wasn't given the job offer back then, and I got so busy with school that I didn't have the time to go through the job searching process again. Now that summer's coming up, I've started that process up again, and I had an interview today. Compared to last time, I had almost no stress at all. Of course I was a little nervous since I was really interested in the job position and wanted to do well, but I never freaked out about it like I did for my first interview. Overall, I think I performed very well. There were some questions they asked that I wish I could have been a bit more prepared for, but overall, I think I gave good answers to all their questions. I stuttered a few times, but I didn't let that psyche myself out. I was quickly able to recover every single time because of how relaxed and confident I was. I am so incredibly grateful to this community for encouraging me to attend that first job interview at the beginning of the year. Without it, I wouldn't have felt so relaxed and calm for this interview. It really gave me the confidence and experience I needed to perform much better. The job I'm applying for is a student tutoring position, and the interviewers let me know that they're particularly shorthanded in the subjects that I was willing to teach, so I'm feeling pretty good about my chances. I have three younger siblings, and I've always loved teaching them whenever they needed help in a subject, and I have great grades, so I think tutoring is the most logical position for me right now. Plus, it gives me more experience in talking and communicating with other people, so that's a huge plus. And I have another interview lined up for this Friday, and I'm not feeling too nervous about it either. I really appreciate all the support you've all given me, and I owe my recent successes to all of you. Wish me luck. :)
