I get you a 100%! I have a stutter too, I have had a stutter since I started speaking! There are good days where you’re all bubbly and talkative and confident and you actually start conversations, ask questions and you’re doing GREAAAAT! And then there are the other days, the ones that you don’t even want anyone to ask you how are you doing because you’re not a 100% sure you’ll be able to say “i’m good and you” But you know what, this is whats special about you- you do have a stutter and it’s something you have to accept and make peace with it- or it will eat you up alive. You know when you’re eating chips for example and its so loud in your head but in reality, the person sitting next to you CAN in fact hear it, but its not as bad as you think it is? I look at my stuttering the same way. It became something I live with, I accept and respect. I sometimes introduce it in a presentation for example before I start, i don’t know man. Its really a challenge, so don’t put hard on yourself too! You’re not any less than anyone who speaks fluently, you just need more time and that’s okay. Everyone still wants to listen to you, and they will listen to you.. just give yourself some love, and get in that flow!
